This post is the next long-awaited instalment of my product empties series, where I chat about products I’ve used up and give a short verdict for if I’ll repurchase or not. I’ve chosen to do these posts quarterly, because I am naturally horrendous at committing to emptying products I’ve opened and monthly posts wouldn’t be interesting with one or two empties…
Since the hair straightening brush revolution started there has been so many new companies gracing us with their own version of this hybrid device. The number of hair straightening brushes currently on the market is enough to leave most consumers confused as to which one they should purchase. Two of these brushes include the Hairstyla, which I have actually reviewed in a previous post here, and the LVL hair straightening brush* which is a new product that has hit my desk! In this post, I’ll give you a comparison between the two to help you decide which one you should try out for yourself if you’re on the lookout for one.
We are now well into March (urgh), and unless you’ve been living in hibernation you would have seen the Easter themed products, chocolates and decorations in stores recently in the lead up to the Easter season. Which means, it’s time to prepare yourself for another limited edition range from LUSH!
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) seems to be one of the ‘gold-standard’ ingredients in skincare. We all know that HA is meant to be great for adding hydration to our skin, but do we all know why and how, or even how to use it properly? You’d be surprised how many don’t, and I have to admit that before this, I was one of them. You may even encounter some people who will go so far as to say, ‘Acid? I’m not putting acid on my face!’ But you know, I don’t blame them! HA is just one of those buzzwords that gets thrown around everywhere without a proper explanation of what it is or how it works.
Colour correcting is the technique of using coloured concealers to neutralise complexion issues such as redness, dark under eye circles and dull skin. It’s based on the colour theory that opposite colours on the colour wheel cancel out each other and are neutralised.
The original L’Oreal Infallible has become somewhat of a cult classic drugstore foundation all over the world. So when L’Oreal revealed it would be bringing the next version of their Infallible range to Australia, many were anticipating the range to be one of the best drugstore new releases in Australia. With the Infallible Pro Glow only just being released in Australia (yet so popular overseas), we have now had the pleasure of experiencing the Total Cover range in our stores for quite a while now while we waited!
If you’ve watched my Instagram stories or keep up to date with my feed, you’ll know I am slightly obsessed with candles and bath bombs. They are pretty much my two favourite things in this world – besides tea! There is just something so warm and comforting about a candle that radiates an aroma you love, and we all know how fun and relaxing a bath bomb can be.
