Have you been intrigued by the surge of facial crystal rollers on the market recently? Well, so have I. Thanks to Zudoya I’ve been lucky enough to trial one over the last few weeks and I wanted to share the concept with you all.
These last few months of thesis writing has really taken its toll on me, both physically and mentally. I must admit I haven’t really been taking proper care of myself, and haven’t given myself the time to indulge in some skin pampering outside of my usual beauty routine. And it’s been showing in my skin. Think fatigued and textured skin. So when the opportunity arose to visit Burnside Cosmetic to experience the Ultra MD A-Zyme Peel, my heart really could not pass up the chance to put my feet up and yield to some relaxation and a quality cosmeceutical treatment.
I have a revelation. I hate shaving. Always have, always will. Shaving as a form of hair removal has been my last resort since I started out as a young teenager. In fact, the first time I ever tried hair removal I went straight to waxing, and can honestly say that I’ve probably shaved my legs only about two dozens times during my life.
I’ve always felt like I’ve had good long lashes, but as they grow downwards I’ve always had to rely on using eyelash curlers to lift up my lashes to new heights and make my eyes pop. However, I don’t particularly enjoy using them, and we’ve all seen the horror stories floating around the internet of people ripping out their eyelashes or cutting their lashes with their eyelash curlers. Not to mention, the results are short lived, no matter how good a mascara claims to hold a curl. As an alternative, eyelash lifts have always excited and intrigued me, and I was finally given the chance to experience it for myself. In this post, I’ll go over my experiences with getting an eyelash lift treatment from Exotic Beauty by Liz here in Adelaide, going over what’s involved and what my results were!
Having a bright set of pearly whites is a desire everyone has, but is something that seems out of reach to many people who cannot afford to have their chompers professionally whitened by a dentist.
In comes at home teeth whitening kits to rescue! Or do they? There are loads and loads of different companies now releasing teeth whitening kits to use at home, with many more still emerging. They come with the promise that their kits are a cheap, effective, easy to use and safe way of whitening your teeth at home so that you can avoid expensive professional teeth whitening.
I’ve been against shaving for as long as I can remember, purely because I did not want my leg hairs to grow back progressively thicker and darker over time. Of course, I have never completely avoided shaving (because let’s face it it’s definitely the most convenient form of hair removal)- but it’s generally my last resort and I usually put it off for a very long time (sorry boyfriend). I have myself to thank for the state of my current leg hairs – they are thin, light in colour and there is generally quite a good amount of time before my hairs grow back. There is no ‘secret’ behind this – but I will say it’s most probably due to the fact my most preferred method of removing hair is either waxing or epilating and has been for a long time (and if I’m honest I’d almost kill for laser!).
Well… it’s that time again! Many of you have been following me on my brow tattoo journey and have been patiently waiting for my update on my brows. I’ve FINALLY written up my well overdue post, and I’m so excited to show you all the final result! I got my brows feather tattooed from the girls at Exotic Beauty and Brows, and if you read my first installment of my brow tattoo journey, you would be aware that I was going to go back for my touch up session and that I was going to report the final result to you all. If you haven’t read it, you can catch up on it here.
