Curling your hair with a straightener seems like an easy thing to do in theory, yet can be a tedious and cumbersome task in practice. Luckily, ghd always comes up with the goods to ensure creating a soft wavy hairstyle is as easy and frustration-free as possible with their sleek and strategically designed stylers. In this post, I’ll go over how I create one of my fave hair looks, a soft and chic wave with their newly released ghd gold styler.
As much as I love to devote a lot of time to perfecting my beauty routine every day, sometimes during the hectic phases of our life all we want to do is just get up out of bed and go straight to work. Well, I’d love to. The thing is, I’ve become so fixated and obsessive over taking care of my skin, body and hair every day that going to work or going to bed without doing at least SOMETHING for my skin and hair is a thing of nightmares for me.
Welcome back beauties!
Into Autumn and with Winter approaching, I’ve really been feeling khaki tones and metallic warm lips. It seems the focus is on warm reds and berries this season, but I’m taking inspiration from the decades of the 90’s in these cooler months with basic browns and khakis, so I wanted to show you all an Autumn/Winter themed look that I created with some products available from Adore Beauty.
I have a revelation. I hate shaving. Always have, always will. Shaving as a form of hair removal has been my last resort since I started out as a young teenager. In fact, the first time I ever tried hair removal I went straight to waxing, and can honestly say that I’ve probably shaved my legs only about two dozens times during my life.
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) seems to be one of the ‘gold-standard’ ingredients in skincare. We all know that HA is meant to be great for adding hydration to our skin, but do we all know why and how, or even how to use it properly? You’d be surprised how many don’t, and I have to admit that before this, I was one of them. You may even encounter some people who will go so far as to say, ‘Acid? I’m not putting acid on my face!’ But you know, I don’t blame them! HA is just one of those buzzwords that gets thrown around everywhere without a proper explanation of what it is or how it works.
